'Suffocate' was created as a response to the worsening ecological conditions faced as a consequence of pollutive and wasteful norms within popular society. The photographic series is both conceptual and abstract, illustrating the contamination and polluting of the Earth's natural environments, represented throughout as a black liquid. 'Suffocate' seeks to produce critical thinking from its audience, in a bid to bring light to the extent of human impact on our natural surroundings, highlighting the need for change and a sustainable lifestyle.
